Who gets your donation?:
Over 4.2 million books have been sent to undersrved populations in the U.S. and abroad. Special shipments are made to deployed U.S. troops, Peace Corps volunteers, prisons, and Indian reservations.
Needs:
Gently used children's library books, textbooks from all levels, non-fiction books. Please limit the number of fiction books.
About Us:
Books for International Goodwill (B.I.G.) is a sixteen year-old project begun by the Parole (Annapolis) Rotary Club and manned entirely by volunteers. Books are shipped for an average of 15 cents each. Recipients receive books free of charge and are expected to use them directly or give them to others free of charge.
Our Mission:
Keeping Books Alive: To recycle gently-used books and keep them out of landfills
